Please join us for a grand opening kickoff event for The RVR History Trail!
It will be a walking tour, led by Historical Society vice president Sue Gray, who developed much of the content for the trail, and is a walking encyclopedia of Carbondale history.
This trail is a 2.7-mile loop that includes ten 21” x 28” descriptive panels, mounted along a walking path through the RVR community.
The RVR Master Association has worked closely with the Carbondale Historical Society to create this unique outdoor classroom.
The tour begins in Orchard Park, at 10 am. Please register if you’d like to reserve a spot in this historical event.
Those who participate in this grand opening event are also invited to a rare tour of the Thompson House Museum, which will follow the History Trail tour.
